      • let characters expose and create tension
  • ALWAYS get consent forms signed
    • can therefore use footage - people might get aggy at characteristic revealing footage (tension, crying, storming out)
  • PLENTY of time to set up
    • 1 hour before - can then solve and problems we have and not keep people waiting
  • LISTEN carefully to answers
  • ASK questions clearly 
    • allow time inbetween them finishing speaking and stopping the camera - cant have cut voices in footage, 2 seconds + for editing use
  • VARY shot sized
    • reframe whilst asking questions if interviewer out of visio
  • MUST shoot reaction shots
    • nodding
    • smiling

    • we don't have to agree but we need to care (audience)
